As a girl who loves makeup and blogging I decided to combine both in the theme of Valentine's Day!
It will be here before you know it and while I've never made a big fuss over this particular holiday any excuse to get fixed up is welcomed by me! :)
So here are my favorite lip options for V-Day whether you are spending it with your one true love or your gal pals, heck I would even wear a fun shade at home, sparkling cider in hand, watching
Pride and Prejudice.

This is in fact what I will probably be doing considering I'm in a LDR and did I mention Mr.Darcy?
Enough about me, here are my favorite options starting with the lightest and ending with the darkest.

Also please excuse my unsteady hand, I applied the colors outside, in the woods, with a small compact mirror... I'm not always patient so one or two of the colors might be a little all over the place. (just like me) lol
Nivea Vitamin Swirl, gives a hint of soft pink while keeping lips moisturized.
Revlon colorburst in unapologetic, I layered this one over my Nivea lip balm which made it appear more like a cream than a matte which is what it is.
MAC All Fired Up is such a beautiful pinky/red and perfect for those who always choose a classic red lip. Have some fun with color while keeping it classy.
MAC Russian Red is the epitome of the classic red lip and since it's in a matte you can look and feel like an old Hollywood film siren.
NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream in Absolute Red makes me think of Jessica Rabbit or for those who don't know who that is, a femme fatal. #AClassyWayToSayManEater
Revlon Fabulous Fig is (surprise) another matte and can be more of a grunge color if paired with the right outfit. Hello 90's.
NYX Soft Matte lip cream in Copenhagen, I seriously have worn this in so many photo shoots and it seems different every time I wear it! Needless to say it's favorite of mine!
Revlon Creme Black Cherry was one of those lipsticks I fell in love with without even trying it on.
I rarely wear it since it is a tad dramatic but this Valentines day the drama should stay on your lips and not in your relationship(s) or lack thereof.
Don't forget "Every girl deserves a guy who will ruin her lipstick, NOT her mascara."
